Patricia, a certified Suzuki teacher, welcomes all ages to her studio.
Studying the harp is a valuable addition to the education of children
as young as four years old. It will improve memory, develop motor
skills, foster creativity, and build confidence in the life of the
child. Click
here for more information. For many adults, playing the harp
is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. It offers a creative outlet,
a mentally stimulating activity, and proves to be a relaxing hobby
for the adult beginner.
Harp
lessons include learning to read music, musicality and expression,
music theory, and technique on the lever harp or pedal harp. Studies
may include different musical styles such as classical, popular,
sacred, or world folk music.
Patricia’s desire for her students is that they
accomplish their individual musical goals. Their goal may be to
just play for their own enjoyment, to perform in public, to form
lasting friendships and camaraderie by rehearsing and performing
with other harpists of the Highland Harp Ensemble, or to work toward
a career in harp performance. Students may reach their goals in
the studio’s nurturing atmosphere. Please contact Patricia
for additional information.
“I have known Mrs. Hager
nearly my entire life and have always dreamed of having her play
for me one day at my wedding. My dream came true, and I had the
honor of having her play at my outdoor ceremony! Knowing what a
talented and gifted harpist she is, I trusted her enough to select
and play absolutely anything she wanted during the ceremony. It
was such a lovely surprise! Her beautiful music and presence added
the perfect touch to my wedding and I highly recommend her to anyone!”
